Build Business Momentum

We all know that things happen in our lives that stop us in our track. Right before, we were grinding away, accomplishing our goals and just generally in a good work flow. But how do you get it back is the question of the day!

A great skill to have in your business tool-belt is momentum, how to harness it to serve you best and achieve your goals on a continuous basis. Below are great steps to help get your groove back…

  1. Set Small Goals
No need to feel overwhelmed. Completing your list is key, but in small steps. Prioritize in steps and check them off as your finish.
  2. Calendar Time
Procrastination is a huge trap when trying to gain momentum. By scheduling specific time to work on your goals you set the pace ahead of time. Again, start small…schedule a half hour at first then build as your day allows.
  3. Set the Mood
Have you ever heard the quote, “Chaos makes chaos.”? It’s true. If your work space is cluttered that overwhelmed feeling returns and your mind shifts to what you should be doing instead of what you have scheduled to do. Clear your work space the night before and start fresh each day. You will surprise yourself just how much more effective your time will be.
  4. Jump Right In
Don’t think about it, ponder or even wait until you are feeling up to it. By jumping right in you will be more apt to feel enthusiastic during the process. Taking us back to procrastination…don’t get trapped into the ‘I will do it later’ mood. Stay focused on the end result.
  5. Rewards
Treat yourself along the way to keep that feeling alive. Even if it is something as simple as a morning stroll or lunch out.

Building momentum is a technique we all can use and learn from. So many of us get off track and never find our way back. With today’s tips, you will be better prepared to overcome the setbacks in your professional life and keep the commitments you make for yourself!

JigsawBox Tip: Using Your Website with JigsawBox

A question we are asked often on the support desk is, ‘I have created my modules and packages, what happens next?’

Attracting coaching clients is always the reply! And since that is a loaded answer, today we are going to take a closer look at the correlation between JigsawBox and getting clients by showing you how everything ‘fits together’.

So, you have a shiny, new package complete with well thought-out modules and chock full of great content. The only thing left is launching your JigsawBox program….

Add the client link to your sales page

  • Click My Packages
  • Next copy the link by clicking on Client Link to the right of the package name (this is the link that your clients will use to register for your package)
  • Create a button in PayPal and paste the client link behind the button
  • When the button is clicked, your clients will now be taken to the registration page
  • Current JigsawBox account holders can simply add their current login information
  • New JigsawBox clients will be asked to choose new login information and both will be redirected to the PayPal check-out process
  • Once that process is complete, your clients will be taken to the welcome page which will contain their username and a message informing them to expect a welcome email.

Tip: You can customize the welcome email that is sent. Simply click ‘edit’ next to the package to access the input area or visit us here for further instructions.

Now you, as the coach, will receive an email notification that you have a new client! And your client is able to log in and access their purchased package!

Wondering what the client views after logging in? Take a look at this video as it will walk you through the above process while showing you around your JigsawBox package from the client’s side….

JigsawBox Tip: Using Your JigsawBox!

Who is a JigsawBox Client?

That’s a tough question to answer!  Our JigsawBoxer Community is extremely diverse; we have Coaches, Educators, Professional Trainers, Wedding Planners, Financial Consultant, Sales People, and many, many others.  Each one of them using JigsawBox is a unique way with some great ideas!

Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing some of those unique items are clients are doing in the hopes it will inspire you to use your JigsawBox in a new way too.

Idea #1: Delivering Your Content

A few weeks ago JigsawBox launched a new enhancement to give you more flexibility on how you can release your content.  You can learn more about that and watch a video on how to do just that here.

One of those new features is to release a module after another module is completed.  Why would you do that?  To help your clients/learners build upon their knowledge.  Let’s take a quick example:

You are a Coach teaching your clients how to make the most out of using social media.  You want your clients to first learn about the various types of social media, then create their accounts, then start using them and then perhaps start analyzing their results.

For this example, you may want to ensure your client truly understands the different types of social media and how to use them before they just dive in.  To do that, you would create one module called Social Media Introduction, for example.  You would list the various types of social media, advantages/disadvantages, how you can tie them together and so on.  At the end of your module you can then “test” you clients’ comprehension by adding in a series of questions.

When you set up your package for this module you would make only this first module available to your client right away.  Then, only after they answer all of the questions can they progress to the next module, setting up their social media accounts.  In this second module you could ask them in the questions area to enter all of their new account id’s so you can follow their Twitter, Facebook, etc.  Then, after answering these questions they would get access to the third module, and so on.

Using the each module to be released after the previous one has been completed feature gives you the flexibility to do this and to truly build on the learning from one module to another.  We encourage you to think about how you can incorporate this feature in your packages and start building up your clients’ learning comprehension.

How are you using your JigsawBox?  We’d love to hear from you so do tell us below or contact  the Support Team so we can be sure to include your idea in a future post.  If you have any questions on how you can use your JigsawBox, just let us know!

The Courtesy of Clarity

I’ve named this blog post, “The Courtesy of Clarity” because it accurately reflects an important aspect of business:

Clarity.

Tilting your head in question yet? I have the answers you need.

If you are reading this post, chances are that you have gone out there and purchased a good or service from either an individual or a business. You have probably, at one point or another, gone online and looked at the various websites that host what you are about to buy. Some of these sites have detailed information, great visuals, and are high impact. They draw you into the purchase.

You are perfectly enticed because that site has answered your questions, shown you the product, and enabled you to buy thanks to their ease of use.

This is clarity.

For coaches, your clarity has to come on your sales or squeeze page. When you are designing these pages, you have to put the buyer in mind. By knowing your niche, understanding how the benefits of what you are offering helps them, and designing around that – you are on your way to making the sale and keep them coming back continuously. Promote what you can be sure you will deliver on.

What you never want to do is confuse them in the message. From the perspective of the client, they need the transparency of your offer. They do not need the longest words or the deepest definitions, they need to feel as if their message clearly defines their issues and the needed solutions.

The clearer and more profound that you are in addressing their needs and connecting it to what you can offer them, the more effective you will become. The client does not want to work to pay for you, they want be able to find the clarity they need by the information you deliver, connect to it, purchase it, and learn from it.
