JigsawBox Tip: Using Your JigsawBox!

Who is a JigsawBox Client?

That’s a tough question to answer!  Our JigsawBoxer Community is extremely diverse; we have Coaches, Educators, Professional Trainers, Wedding Planners, Financial Consultant, Sales People, and many, many others.  Each one of them using JigsawBox is a unique way with some great ideas!

Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing some of those unique items are clients are doing in the hopes it will inspire you to use your JigsawBox in a new way too.

Idea #1: Delivering Your Content

A few weeks ago JigsawBox launched a new enhancement to give you more flexibility on how you can release your content.  You can learn more about that and watch a video on how to do just that here.

One of those new features is to release a module after another module is completed.  Why would you do that?  To help your clients/learners build upon their knowledge.  Let’s take a quick example:

You are a Coach teaching your clients how to make the most out of using social media.  You want your clients to first learn about the various types of social media, then create their accounts, then start using them and then perhaps start analyzing their results.

For this example, you may want to ensure your client truly understands the different types of social media and how to use them before they just dive in.  To do that, you would create one module called Social Media Introduction, for example.  You would list the various types of social media, advantages/disadvantages, how you can tie them together and so on.  At the end of your module you can then “test” you clients’ comprehension by adding in a series of questions.

When you set up your package for this module you would make only this first module available to your client right away.  Then, only after they answer all of the questions can they progress to the next module, setting up their social media accounts.  In this second module you could ask them in the questions area to enter all of their new account id’s so you can follow their Twitter, Facebook, etc.  Then, after answering these questions they would get access to the third module, and so on.

Using the each module to be released after the previous one has been completed feature gives you the flexibility to do this and to truly build on the learning from one module to another.  We encourage you to think about how you can incorporate this feature in your packages and start building up your clients’ learning comprehension.
