Yet, the majority of entrepreneurs who say they want to write a book don’t actually do it. Why? Based on more than 900 responses to a recent survey by Transformational Book Coach, Christine Kloser, aspiring authors revealed what holds them back.

JigsawBox Tip: Using Facebook

If you’ve never heard of Facebook then where have you been?!!  For those who are slightly unsure, Facebook is a social networking service launched in February 2004.  In September 2012 Facebook announced that they had over one billion active users so a great platform to gather and speak to potential new clients as well as interacting with existing ones!

So isn’t it about time you started utilizing this fantastic tool into your coaching program?

Facebook commenting has become the ‘norm’ and in using this tool you as a coach can communicate better and faster with your clientele.  It will lock you into connectivity that you and your clients will need so that the flow of communication keeps on coming!

So we want to show you how to set up your Facebook and start interacting today!

  • Step 1: Create your own Facebook account by going to http://www.facebook.com and following the instructions.
  • Step 2: Once logged into your Facebook account,  go to http://developers.facebook.com.
  • Step 3: Click the “Apps” tab at the top of the screen to be taken to the apps menu. On the right hand side of this screen click “Create New App”.
  • Step 4: On this page you need to name your app, select your locale, and agree to the terms of Facebook. Additionally please click “Continue”, confirm your security credentials, and finally click “Submit”. Doing this will take you to the main application page.
  • Step 5: On the main application page choose the “website” option at the bottom. Where it allows you to enter text, enter: www.jigsawbox.com/ *Please remember to add the forward slash!*
  • Step 6: Click “Save Changes” and once more click the “Apps” tab at the top of the page.
  • Step 7: From the “Access Tokens” area of the main apps page, click the “Need to grant permissions” link and copy the Application ID code.
  • Step 8: Log into your JigsawBox account and click the “My Account” link on the right hand side of your screen.
  • Step 9: Scroll down the page until you see the section called, “Facebook App ID”. Paste your application ID into this section.
  • Step 10: Click “Save”.

JigsawBox Tip: *Refresher* Give Your Clients A Test Drive

Before you commit to paying for a JigsawBox account, you have a 14-day free trial to determine whether it’s the right solution for you. Your clients can have the same opportunity if you give them a free trial. When you give your clients a test drive, they can have a closer look at what working with you would be like and it may lead to more sales. Here’s how it works:

When you edit or create a new package, you have the option of including a number of days of free trial for your clients to take a look at what you’re offering. The number of days you choose will be reflected in the client’s PayPal payment. For example, if you set the trial for 7 days, the client’s PayPal page will show a 7-day free trial when they register. It will also show a payment of whatever price you have set up for the client to pay. This is the amount the client will be charged automatically unless they choose to cancel.

Once you set this up in PayPal, you’ll go to the Package Modules at the bottom right of your create/edit package page and click on each one in turn. Select how many days you would like your modules to be available. For example, if you want three of your modules to be available during the trial period and the rest to be available immediately after the trial finishes, you would set the first three modules to be available on day 0, and the rest on day 7.

It is important to note that if a client cancels their payment and decides not to continue after their trial, that you deactivate the client from the package on the My Clients page. Even when a client is deactivated, they will still be able to access everything that was available to them during the free trial, so you have to be selective about what you make available during this free trial period. For example, don’t give your clients a free trial of ALL of your modules, especially if they are content-packed. Those who plan to just take a test drive will still be able to access all this information for free even if you deactivate them.

The alternative is to delete a client entirely, which means they will no longer be able to access your package. You can do this on the My Clients page.

Learning! It's great for you!Today we want to show you another way that you can use your Jigsawbox.

We have a lot of queries come into Support to say “I love JigsawBox, but I don’t have any programs at the moment. I only have my book.”

Well, you have a package right there!!

Take your book/ebook, and turn this into your program!  And it’s really simple to do.

Take each chapter of your book and turn it into a module.   That’s one package.  Price this at the same price as your E-Book.

Now for your VIP package…create a copy of the package you’ve just made.  Then, for each module (and based on the subject of the chapter) add in some questions and homework tasks for your client to complete.  Learn more about questions here.

Release each chapter on a weekly basis to give you client some time to complete their homework.

You can upload an audio version of each chapter to each module if you wish for those that prefer to listen rather than read.

Why not add a Forum, for all your clients to interact with each other? You can learn more about our forums here.

You can use this Package as a taster for your clients while you work on content for more packages.

You can price this package as a VIP package to take in consideration the extra questions, content, use of interactive Forum, and weather the client will be getting personal responses from you to the answers they submit.
