Make Your Clients Stars!

A few weeks ago, I ran a very special live event for a small select number of my VIP clients. We spent the day together planning the content and sales strategy so that they could bring in a great new income stream to their businesses: creating Five Star Days for their clients.

Creating a high-end ‘VIP’ program is one of the fastest ways to bring cash and clients into your business, as I’m sure you know.

But I know for many of you the idea of creating a 12 month HUGE program and selling it feels overwhelming. So I want to teach you the same steps I’ve only ever taught to my VIP clients before: how to create a Five Star Day instead. I’ll share all the steps, templates, scripts and so much more so that you will be able to implement your own Five Star Days to bring in extra cash flow when you need it.

And we start Monday. And every day next week.

You know me, I don’t like to hang about – why spend weeks learning something you can learn and implement in just five days.  This is a brand-new program with content I’ve only shared with my high-level VIP clients.  But, since my personal mission for 2011 is to help as many coaches as possible create their first $50,000. This is the most cost-effective way I could work out to  get the information I have into your hands and into your businesses.  So if you want to come along for the ride…click here to learn more and join me next week.

Just one week to get truly and utterly focused and come out with your own Five Star program, we start Monday….

JigsawBox Tip: Pricing & Packaging

I hope you’re enjoying the weekly JigsawBox Tips and that you’re taking these tips and using them to improve your JigsawBox offerings.  A question we get asked all the time is; “How do I sell one package at different prices?”

Good question!  Some of you may be thinking, why would you even want to do that, so here’s the why and the how.

You may have a great basic package that you know that everyone will love and want to buy.  This would be considered your entry package and we’d recommend that this is priced lower and be a self-coaching package only.  Next, you may want to offer those same modules to someone, but also incorporate groups calls.  Finally, you could again use these same modules, and offer weekly or monthly 1:1 calls with your client and sell this as a VIP package.

You create your content one time, and you can use it in three different ways and sell it for three different prices.

In JigsawBox, you simply want to create a new package for each of these options, one package you could call your self-coaching package, the second would be your group call package and the third your VIP program.  Then, you add the same modules to each package you create, set up the different price amounts and you’re ready to go!

When you do offer group calls to a package, you can also record these calls, then simply create a new module that you use ONLY for those on the group call package and then upload all of your recordings into this one module.  So, your group call clients will have one additional module called group call recordings and they will know exactly where to find the recordings of all of your calls.

You can do a similar thing with your VIP clients.  Add a new module for the recordings of your 1:1 VIP sessions, and even include a link to your online calendar so your VIP clients can book their appointments with you (we use TimeDriver – it’s great!).

I hope this helps you think about different ways you can use your existing JigsawBox modules to help you continue to grow your business.  What’s you biggest JigsawBox question?  Let us know and we may just dedicate an entire post all for you!

Monday Mindset: You get to choose how much you earn, you lucky thing!

Well, 2011, what goodies do you have in store for me this year, I wonder?

That might have been my approach a few years ago, but not any more. I’ve decided instead. I’ve decided exactly what my revenues are going to be. I’ve decided what programs I’m launching when, and I may work with the number of people I’ve planned for each, and if it doesn’t work out that way, I’ll find a way to earn that revenue target using a different approach.

I’ve decided who my team are going to be in 2011 and where I want to take them.

I’ve decided how many 1:1 clients I’m working with and I’ve decided to put together my best yet VIP program (watch this space!).

I know how many hours a day I’m going to be working (two) and how much time and money I’m investing in my own development this year (a lot).

So I’ve set the intention firmly as a starting point.

With that in mind FIRST, it’s then time to work out the how. So many coaches I see start from the how.  They think ‘given what I know right now, given what I could probably learn, given what I sold last year, this is how many sales I can probably make this year so my revenue for 2011 will probably be …….this’.

One of the things I believe is one of the greatest things about working for yourself is you get to decide how much you earn. You can’t do that in a ‘real’ job. But when you work for yourself you can. You can decide you’re going to earm $50K this year, you can decide you want $1m, but I LOVE the fact that you can simply choose.

And actually setting the intention is more important than the how in a way – you can’t possibly know what will happen once you do that first successful launch or sell your first high-priced VIP program. Opportunities will come to you, the experience in itself will change you as a person. The how will change as you move through the year.

So set the intention and just focus on the first step.

Then the question becomes – what would it take for you to achieve that first step? And more importantly – are you willing? (My own mentor always asks me this. Are you willing Nicola. I always gulp, sweat a bit and then say ‘yes’. Because if I don’t say ‘yes’, I’m not going to get where I want to be.)

If you don’t know the answer to the first, that’s where you need to decide that investing in your own training to learn how is going to be your intention this year. Only once you know what it takes can you answer the second question.

My question to you: what are you intentions for 2011? What WILL you have achieved when I’m asking for your success stories at the end of this year. Share. I’d love to know.
